At The PR Department we advocate being good corporate citizens and encourage our clients and website visitors to play their part.
We are partners with Growing Ambitions - UK-wide online matchmaker for careers speakers for education. Speaking to young people in your community for just half an hour about your career and your day-to-day role helps give them insights into the workplace and make informed career choices.
It's good to give something back! You can speak just once or as often as you like.
Check out the Speaker's Guide listing the key things to cover along with useful tips on getting your message across. (Remember, if you offer a precise time slot - rather than the 'flexible' option - keep it free in your diary - you will be sent a few reminders though.) When you are booked, you will be sent the careers adviser's contact details and a map and more.
Important: Before you Register make sure you add growingambitions.org to your 'Safe Senders' list in your email options. This will ensure their emails do not end up in your Spam folder!
Privacy
Once you are registered, rest assured that careers advisers will only see your: name; job title; qualifications; length of experience; ethnicity and job description. Other details are only shared with a careers adviser who actually 'books' you to speak.
