CHARITIES & SOCIAL ENTERPRISE
CHRISTIANS IN PROPERTY (CIP)
We were appointed by CIP to help it grow. To do this, we are: undertaking a media relations campaign, having issued a profile of CIP to over 100 property related titles and issuing regular news releases; meeting editors and placing stories. We have extended the website and incorporating audio downloads; we have formalised and badged informal activities into a new service i.e. the CIP Mentoring Scheme. We communicate more regularly by email and by post, with members having cleaned up the membership databases. We now produce Events Calendars; and are developing fundraising programmes and pursuing corporates and individuals, and exploiting value-for-money online advertising opportunities.
ST PETROC (WESSEX) HOUSING ASSOCIATION LIMITED
- now Two Saints Limited
The brief was to assist St Petroc in presenting a more professional
face to key stakeholders and funder, in particular.
We undertook to upgrade its corporate literature, and annual report
in particular. Being a charity for homeless people, it was crucial
to show the businesslike nature of operations at the charity coupled
but a conscientious approach to cost of production. We also handled
media relations around the opening of a new hostel and obtained
local television and media coverage. A dedicated brochure on the
hostel was also produced for stakeholders which was well received.
TRELOAR TRUST
We were appointed by the charity at the time they were launching
a £3m fundraising campaign to finance a new residential building
and a Resources Centre for the disabled young people in their care.
We were involved in brainstorming fundraising ideas and handled
event publicity. Best loved gardening presenter, Alan Titchmarsh,
presided at the opening of the Sensory Garden at Treloars, and subsequently
went on to become a co-patron of the charity, alongside Superman
star Christopher Reeve and other celebrities.
Media coverage generated of Treloars students and staff,
included pieces in leading womens titles such as Womans
Own, the nationals such as The Guardian, the local
press as well as regular pieces in the professional therapists
titles on the world leading work done in occupational and language
therapy at Treloars.
